I started making my own jewelry because I could never find anything affordable or well-made that I liked. The more I made, the more my style changed as I tried out new techniques.

Then I learned to solder silver, which opened up a new world for me. After a year, I literally walked into a goldsmithing job, and now work full-time in jewelry repair and custom work. My specialty is Russian-style filigree, pierced work and hand-made chains.

Add to that my interest in facetting and gemology! I'm this year's vice president of the Canaveral Mineral and Gem Society, and am an active member in the Gemology Online and Orchid forums.

I started this website because I wanted people to have a place to find information about jewelry repair and precious metals. This helps establish trust between myself and my customers, no matter whether they bring me repair work or purchase my jewelry.
